A few months ago, I said to Keith, “Let’s do a podcast!”. He said, with same amount of optimism as I had, “Oh yeah, we gotta do it!”.
It seemed like a really cool idea and that we could start recordings within weeks. Nope, in reality, there is a whole load of planning that needs to be done. And that is what we are doing right now.
Plenty of decisions need to be made. Such as theme music, what will we be talking about and, who will the guests be? Right now, most of that is now written down. Well, actually we’re using free online tools so that we can easily share documents, images and anything else we need to cooperatively work on. We’ll talk about those at some point.
For any project or business idea, to have longevity you will need a plan of some kind. For a modicum of ‘success’, you will need patience, perseverance and determination. In majority of cases, to be described as being successful, you will need time and lots of it.
We want our podcast to last and to be useful to our listeners. So, we’re planning as much as needed. And very soon, we’ll be recording…
